Services awarded §8.4 (a)

Salco Solutions Group is awarded the following DBITS service categories under RFO 593. Services are deliverables-based and are scoped per Statement of Work for each customer engagement.

RFO Reference 2.2.1

Application Development, Maintenance, and Support; Technology Upgrade, Migration, and Transformation; and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

Development of new mainframe, server, network-based, or web-based applications and interfaces; maintenance, support, and security hardening of legacy systems; technology upgrade, migration, and transformation of legacy applications to new platforms; portfolio assessment, planning, proof of concept, deployment, integration, data migration, and training; and ERP initiatives spanning financials, human resources, and asset management, including business process reengineering, configuration, conversion, and related training.

Business Intelligence (BI), Data Management, Analytics, and Automation, including Data Warehousing

In-depth business analysis and data mining; data warehouse roadmapping, architectical design, sourcing, extraction, transformation, and loading; prototype development, deployment, data cleansing, data mart development, and migration; integration with data mining, business intelligence tools, and artificial intelligence; data governance planning and implementation; and Business Analytics and Reporting (BAR).

IT Assessments, Planning, Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), and Market Research, Procurement Advisory, and Contract Implementation Services

IT effectiveness, maturity, governance, and architecture assessments; strategic and tactical planning, roadmaps, organizational change management, enterprise architecture, cloud and network performance assessments; independent verification and validation and SDLC oversight; and market research, procurement advisory, and contract implementation services including cost optimization, software license analysis, financial planning, market engagement, and transition assistance.

Project and Program Management

Project and program management services aligned to the Project Management Institute (PMI) PMBOK® Guide and practice guides, including business case development, statewide impact and cost-benefit analysis, risk assessment, stakeholder management, organizational change management, strategic planning, program assessment, and Agile development, training, and coaching, using customer, commercial, or proprietary tools and the Texas Project Delivery Framework.

Pricing §8.4 (b)

DBITS services under this contract are deliverables-based and priced per engagement. Pricing for a specific scope of work is provided by quote. To obtain current pricing for the awarded services, request a quote using the contact and instructions below. Contract pricing terms are also available on the DIR contract page.

Pricing provided to customers complies with the rates and terms established in Contract DIR-CPO-6257. The DIR Administrative Fee is included in pricing and is not listed as a separate line item.

How to obtain quotes and purchase §8.4 (d)

  1. Request a quote. Contact Salco Solutions Group using the information below with a description of the services and deliverables you need. Reference DIR Contract DIR-CPO-6257.
  2. Receive a Statement of Work. Salco will prepare a Statement of Work (SOW) defining the deliverables, performance specifications, schedule, and pricing for your engagement under the contract.
  3. Issue a Purchase Agreement. Place your Purchase Agreement (purchase order, SOW, service agreement, or other authorized instrument) directly with Salco Solutions Group, referencing DIR-CPO-6257. The agreement becomes binding upon acceptance by Salco.
  4. Service delivery and invoicing. Salco delivers the awarded services per the agreement and invoices the customer directly under the contract terms.

Texas state agencies are generally required to purchase commodity IT services through DIR cooperative contracts unless an exemption applies. Institutions of higher education are exempt from that requirement.
